The StillSecure suite allows organizations
to secure assets without inhibiting the
flow of business, reduce risk and liability,
and achieve regulatory compliance—all
within tight budget and time constraints.
The StillSecure® suite of network
security software protects against network
security breaches by proactively identifying
and repairing security holes as well as
by detecting and blocking network attacks
in real-time. Designed for mid- to large-scale
organizations, the StillSecure suite is
affordable, easy to use, and managed from
a Web-based interface.
StillSecure products:
StillSecure Border Guard™ is an
enterprise-class network intrusion detection/prevention
system (IDS/IPS) that protects your organization
from a security breach. Border Guard identifies
and terminates viruses, worms, Trojans,
port scans, and other malicious traffic
before they enter the network and cause
real damage.
Cost-effective and easy to use, Border
Guard offers unparalleled flexibility
in responding to attacks, from instantly
dropping attack packets or blocking IP
addresses, to sending alerts and notifications.
As such, Border Guard can function as
an intrusion prevention system (IPS) or
as an intrusion detection system (IDS).
Border Guard employs a comprehensive approach
for detecting, analyzing, responding to,
and reporting on attacks. It virtually
eliminates false-positives, allowing you
to focus on only the attacks that pose
real threats to your organization. Border
Guard's comprehensive reporting engine
provides enterprise-wide or drill-down
reports to satisfy compliance requirements.

VAM™ is a vulnerability
management system that identifies, manages,
and repairs network security vulnerabilities.
VAM manages the vulnerability remediation
process from end-to-end, allowing you
to quickly and systematically fix the
vulnerabilities that expose you to attack.
Updated hourly with the most current vulnerability
signatures, VAM scans for vulnerabilities
using scheduled and on-demand scans. The
vulnerabilities found during scans are
managed by VAM's exclusive Vulnerability
Repair Workflow™, which includes
automated patch management capabilities.
VAM tracks all scanning and remediation
activities and delivers a range of reports
for auditors, managers, and IT staff members.
Capable of managing hundreds of thousands
of devices and their vulnerabilities,
VAM offers unequaled enterprise-level
scalability and flexibility in both deployment
and administration. VAM's flexible architecture
integrates into any network topology,
from a single-location LAN to complex,
globally dispersed WANs. VAM is easily
tailored to your organizational structure,
allowing you to manage scanning and repair
activities by functional workgroups.
VAM consists of three modules that provide
comprehensive network coverage:
1. Server VAM — scans servers, routers,
switches, and other network infrastructure
devices.
2. Desktop VAM — optimized for desktops,
laptops, and printers.
3. Remote VAM — performs automated
penetration tests on Internet-visible
devices.
VAM's at-a-glance, Web-based StillSecure® Console
consolidates output from all modules and
provides centralized control over all
scanning and repair activities. The result
of extensive user testing and feedback,
VAM has been designed to be intuitive,
easy-to-use, and highly protective.
Safe Access™ ensures that endpoint
devices accessing the network are free
from security threats and in compliance
with the organization's standards. Safe
Access systematically tests endpoint devices
- without the use of a client or agent
- for compliance with organizational security
policies, quarantining non-compliant machines
before they damage the network.
As the industry's first true agent-less
solution, Safe Access is a giant leap
forward in securing the network. Safe
Access ensures that the applications and
services running on endpoint devices are
up-to-date and free of worms, viruses,
trojans, P2P and other potentially damaging
software. It dramatically reduces the
cost and effort of securing those devices
- devices accessing the network through
VPN or dial-up, devices logging onto the
network directly, and devices connecting
through wireless networks - devices your
IT group may not have adequate control
over.
How it works...
Using Safe Access, administrators create
Access policies that: (1) define which
applications and services are permitted
and (2) specify the actions to be taken
when devices do not comply. Safe Access
automatically applies access policies
to devices as they log onto the network.
Based on test results, devices are either
permitted or denied network access or
quarantined to a specific part of the
network, thus enforcing the organizational
security standards. Safe Access tracks
all testing and connection activity and
produces a range of reports for auditors,
managers, and IT staff.
